Another year has gone by...

Click my heals together and then I see another year has gone by. This year has been one of many changes. I changed my employment from a therapeutic behavioral year round position to one where I teach in an urban public school teaching grade 8 math. With just 4 days of school left, I can truly say I feel very accomplished. I was able to secure employment at a school I enjoy (even with a RIF), started a doctorate program and know I have made a positive impact in the lives of children. I am excited to see what the summer brings as I am enrolled in two courses to develop myself professionally, but also am ready for the challenges and opportunities that might reveal themselves on my journey. Following that yellow brick road!
